Patsy Rogers was a cowgirl ahead of her time. In 1946, she became the first Calgary Stampede Queen.

Raised in a Canadian rodeo and ranching family, Patsy traveled throughout the United States during her reign and even rode alongside Gene Autry. She was remembered for her welcoming smile and her dedication to promoting the Calgary Stampede and the sport of rodeo.
